Heartburn Goes Away With An Acid Reflux Diet

As you get older, you will find that your body will go through a ton of changes. Now these are nothing to worry about. Yes you will put on a few extra pounds, but what is worse is that you will start getting heartburn. It is something that most adults suffer from, and it is something that can be remedied with a good acid reflux diet. Now, there is a cure for the excess fat too, it is called a good workout regime, be sure to work out daily to keep acid down too.

When you are looking for a good acid reflux diet you want to make sure that you do not eat anything that will give you acid. Now, in order to do this you will need to know what acid is. The first thing you can do is stop eating garlic. It gives you bad breath, and is the number one cause of acid.

With garlic being the main culprit in the heartburn department, you may want to get rid of it. There are a few other foods you will need to get rid of. This is what acid reflux or heartburn is: an imbalance of acid in your gut, which makes your stomach acids play up.

This is why you will start passing wind through your mouth more often, and most of the time, it will burn your throat - it is the excess acid. Now, you know why drinking milk works so well when you have acid! When you suffer from something like this you do not want to eat heartburn tablets for the rest of your life.

Now, as said you will not find a set acid reflux diet, you will need to keep a log of what you eat. This way you will know exactly what you have eaten and when you ate it.

Once you have your food logged you will be able to tell which foods gave you heartburn and which did not. This way you can get rid of the foods that did.
