UK Wedding Venues - Not Your Usual Setting

There are many UK wedding venues that have been approved for weddings and civil ceremonies. A wedding venue tends to be a special place, something you want to remember. You can have a luxurious wedding at a castle or enjoy a relaxed beach wedding. There are even more exotic venues available for weddings that can make your special day memorable.

The film industry in the UK is extensive and having your wedding and reception at a film studio or location can be a lot of fun. If you are having a theme wedding then you may be able to have your wedding on a film set that matches your themes.

One popular building from a film is Wilton's music hall, which was featured in Interview with the Vampire, Tipping the Velvet and Delovely.

You can also be married in a historical place as the UK is abound with history in Wales, England and Scotland. Most large estates, castles and mansions in the UK that are public are licence for civil ceremonies and weddings. Some such UK wedding venues include Albury Park Mansion, Craig y Nos Castle Hotel, Notley Abbey, Ufton Court and many more.

There are several famous spots that can make for an exceptional wedding. The roman Baths and Pump Rooms in Bath and Altitude 360 in London are two such spots. Altitude 360 is a venue on the 29th floor of the Millbank tower and offers spectacular views. The baths and pump room are over 2, 000 years old and are a unique setting for a wedding. You can have the meal in the pump rooms and cocktails in the roman baths.

There are many haunted and mysterious buildings in the UK and if you are looking for a very unique venue then a haunted one may be right up your alley. There are medieval castles complete with a bailey and mote. One of the most haunted places in the UK, Boys Hall, has been completely restored and can be used as a wedding venue.
